Childrens Activities - SatFun
info

Satfun was started in 1999 as a joint initiative between West Berkshire Mencap and Newbury Crossroads.
West Berkshire Mencap absorbed the club in 2001.

Satfun operates once a month at the Mencap Centre, providing respite care for the parents/carers of children with a learning disability who are aged 5-10 years. There is a morning session 9.30am-12.30pm and an afternoon session 1.30-4.30pm.

There are plenty of on site activities and occasional trips out. The children also have the use of a fully equipped sensory room and outdoor playground.

The children have a one to one volunteer to encourage them to play and socially interact.
