Childrens Activities - Toy Library
info

The Toy Library is operated by West Berkshire Mencap with the aim of lending toys to people to help stimulate and assist them with their development. The Toy Library meets once a week on Wednesday between 10am-12noon at the Mencap Centre.

Toys are loaned for a modest charge for a minimum of a week and a maximum of a month. Membership to the toy library is open to parents and carers of children and young people with special needs, including schools, day centres and hostels.

New equipment is needed on a regular basis and donations are gratefully received. Our thanks go to those who have already given generously, particularly to West Berkshire Council and the EYDCP (Early Years Development Childcare Partnership).

Membership is also open to other carers such as childminders, foster parents and Bubble club attendees

To register with the Toy Library costs £2.50 per year. Registration is free for members of West Berkshire Mencap.
